Description:

The lmp is recorded against an incorrectly named .wad file because the demo author is a dummy who renames the new files all the time instead of replacing old versions with correct ones. It should sync anyways.

Pretty long, and the cyberdemon setup sometimes doesn't work correctly so no telefrag to clean it up. Overall, pretty weak attempt, starting from early and particularly in middle and late parts (so many archvile zaps and stupidly caught reveballs...), but in the end I didn't die, so there is that.

Highlights of the map include a thoroughly deadly narrow chute leading up to the blue skull and exit altar, which always ends up full of enemies, including at least two archviles who will resurrect everything if you are so naive as to kill things instead of looking out the cage balcony and feed the archviles with rockets (but also don't forget to look behind because of course the imps they resurrect will be teleporting in, too). It doesn't get better from there, past blue door is the wonderful and absolutely fair cyberdemon cage room that certainly doesn't involve a decent amount of RNG to avoid getting splattered instantly, no sirree. Archvile waiting for you past the (you guessed it) marble archvile mural - in the dark DARK room where you can't actually see it, yeah totally fair signposting - is easy to kill if you ignore the dozen spiders who are revealed at the same time.

Since I recorded that very early in the series I certainly can improve that (I did for map01-02), but I really don't want to go through this slog of a map anymore. This goes for the entire rest of mapset other than map02 really... it's doable, but at my skill level not particularly fun in and of itself.
