Comments:  A Tyson TAS movie, yay! I've always found these so cool so why not do one right now. 
There isn't much point of reference for TAS Tyson demos outside of Andrea's demos, and j4rio has many demos that pretty much behave as if they are TAS. So, I bet there are some optimisations that I don't know about.
This demo was mainly recorded at 25% speed with rewinding whenever it was necessary to exploit certain scenarios.

Map-by-map breakdown:
E1M1: Requires some luck and good use of enemies to infight. Could've done better
E1M2: Happy with it. Sub-2. :)
E1M3: This map is notorious for being chaotic at the start. I think I used it well. Typcially it is ard to balance between losing health by throwing yourself at the enemy and also going out of your way to pick up health. Luckily this map has loads of health where enemies are, so it can be picked up with ease.
E1M9: Happy with it. :)
E1M4: Also happy with it. :) Andrea's TAS run had monsters being herded in order to explode them next to a barrel, but I didnt need to do that because I felt as if it would be quicker to just chainsaw them. Though I need try and get all of the demons in the ledge (imps and shotgunners) to die via a barrel so I didn't have to waste time travelling there.
E1M5: Eh, I screwed up the yellow key door lift but whatevs. :) Though being 2 seconds away from the par time is kinda irksome. :'(
E1M6: The time save here was very large. I got lucky at parts like shotgunners killing eachother and I was happy to exploit that. I may have gotten tunnel vision about using shotgun guys to deplete the pinky demon's health, and it may've been quicker to kill them straight away.
E1M7: Hardest map to deal with, due to health being out of the way. There is no point in detouring to survive in a TAS; you just go back and start again. Could've been faster, but having 1% health for some time had a bit of swagger to it, so I left it as is. :)
E1M8: Quite happy with the result. You could probably do this under a minute with perfect RNG manipulation. But it has a sufficicent amount of swagger that I left as is again. :)

This demo was also recorded with the -chain_episodes parameter for future use, hope that's ok.
