Comments: Lot of fat on this run that can be trimmed off. Probably about 30s or so if I really wanted to go for it but I'm super happy with this exit and it might be my favorite demo so far (up there with frog and toad map10 and dance on the water map05). I grabbed the medikits before the viles because if I screwed up there and died it would have just completely killed my morale. Waiting for that last rev in the first arena was also for safety and wasn't necessary.

Some thoughts on the map... The final fight is my favorite big slaughter fight so far. I've done casual UV-MAXs of Cosmogenesis and Profane Promiseland (approximately 10 billion saves) and the final fight here is right up there with the best of them. There is some RNG, this is DOOM after all, but the strat to get through the beginning and take control is so smooth and repeatable and it's great to play.

However... I do not like the imp/rev fight and I'm kind of torn on the PE/viles. The imp/rev fight felt like it was very RNG dependent early on, but as I worked on it I could definitely feel the RNG tilting in my favor as I got better at it, like knowing when to push out of the starting corner, when to turn around so you don't get stuck, watching the movement of the revs at the next chokepoint to help make decisions, etc. It still felt like it had a decent RNG component, and I'm sure that's just a skill issue, but it's still a pretty meh fight imo. The PE/vile fight felt much more repeatable but lost souls are lost souls. I feel like if the RNG could be turned down just a little bit on these two fights this would be an all time fun map.
