this is not the most sophisticated map in scythe, and in some objective sense
not the best one.  but in my mind it's the most fun one, that's unconcerned
what other people think about it.  sort of the power metal of maps in a way,
which makes the symphony x track extra fitting.  anyway... i feel like doing
this map really shows off how shaky my slaughter gameplay tends to be.  or at
least i'm willing to start around and let monsters feed themselves to the
cyberdemons when i could probably be hustling things along with some well
placed bfg shots.  i'm not totally sure what the solution here is but i'm
pretty sure it boils down to "play a lot of slaughter", like it does with
everything else. in any case this map keeps things moving along at a pretty
quick clip no matter what you do.  probably the toughest bit is getting things
rolling and infighting happening at the start, and clearing out the cyberdemon
trios above the action.  fortunately you get two invincibilities for the latter
but you'll probably wind up having to do the third one without as the central
valley fills with monsters each time, in which case you can go for glory at
point-blank or cowardly peek from the nearby rocks.  take a wild guess which
one i went for.
